Can't find someone to travel with?
Don’t be afraid to go by yourself... If you can’t find a friend to travel with, consider going anyway. This may actually be a blessing in disguise, because being alone forces you to meet new people.  Most tour providers will find you a cabin mate or roommate if you need one, or if you want to be alone, you can pay for a single supplement (which can sometimes be very expensive).

Find out everything you can in advance!

Pick a location you’d be thrilled to visit, so you know you’ll have a good time even if you don’t run into the love of your life. Think of meeting that special someone as more or less an extra added bonus. If you’re busy sightseeing and having fun, you won’t be so worried about running into the love of your life... and who knows that may turn out to be just the time that you do!

General travel tips:
Don’t over pack! Take only what you will wear, which is probably half of what you’ve laid out. Always carry on your person when departing on a flight: Any medications you are on - Your Airline Tickets - All travel vouchers you have - Insurance Papers and Contact Numbers - Proof of Citizenship (now it is best to travel with a passport).
